Comarch Sales

Overview

Comarch Sales is a mobile application for field sales representatives, designed to support their work by showing client history, product availability, and creating documentation. The application also includes a gamification panel to boost competitiveness within the company.


My contribution

I analyzed the existing application to identify user needs and designed an MVP with essential features for planning, client management, and product availability. I also contributed to adapting the Comarch Design System for mobile use and collaborated closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation.


The team

I worked with a team of two UX Designers, a UI Designer, five Developers, two Analysts, and a Project Manager. We collaborated closely with internal researchers and sales representatives to gather insights and ensure the seamless design and implementation of the application.

Process

Discovery phase

We started by learning about the current solution we were offering at the time, as well as other products available on the market. We also interviewed sales representatives to understand the specifics of their work and better identify their needs.


In-depth interviews

We conducted a few in-depth interviews with users of the old Comarch Sales application from companies that were actively involved in improving the previous version. We learned how they used the app and what problems they faced. We also gained a better understanding of the sales representatives’ daily work. In addition, we spoke with people responsible for implementing the solution on the client side to understand how things worked behind the scenes.



Design

We started with low-fidelity sketches to organize the app’s navigation and overall structure. Once that was in place, we began designing the screens together with the other designers. When the design was ready, my team was responsible for implementing the components needed for the project into the Comarch Design System. The actual development of the new solution was handled by another department.

Outcome

The result of the project was a new design for the Comarch Sales app that better addressed user needs and resolved issues from the previous version. After the design phase, I collaborated with developers to implement the necessary design system components for building the app. The full development was handled by another department.
